Building my own continuous lighting head – Part 5
It has been a little busy, so no time to work on my light until last night. I’ve blown up the cooler, so I had to replace it with one I got from my neighbor. The thing is a little noisy, but runs fine at 5V, which keeps the noise in check. I use an old phone adapter to power to cooler.I connected an old USB cable to the fan, since the phone adapter has an USB connection. This also allows my to easily connect the cable.
I also want to be able to easily connect the cables powering the LED, so I attaches some clamps to the power supply.
I’m replacing the plastic panel at the back with a thing steel plate with holes in it. It looks pretty and allows enough ventilation. My next post will hopefully show an assembled light very soon.
