Building my own continuous lighting head – Part 5
It has been a little busy, so no time to work on my light until last night. I’ve blown up the cooler, so I had to replace it with one I got from my neighbor. The thing is a little noisy, but runs fine at 5V, which keeps the noise in check. I use an old phone adapter to power to cooler.
I connected an old USB cable to the fan, since the phone adapter has an USB connection. This also allows my to easily connect the cable.
I also want to be able to easily connect the cables powering the LED, so I attaches some clamps to the power supply.
I’m replacing the plastic panel at the back with a thing steel plate with holes in it. It looks pretty and allows enough ventilation. My next post will hopefully show an assembled light very soon.
