Building my own continuous lighting head – Part 6
Yeah, it’s finished! I screwed it all together and here it is:
In the end I decided to ditch the knob controlling the light intensity. At low intensity the light started to flicker a little, which is annoying. And a 100W LED does still not produce that much light.
It’s running fine. The fan is not making to much noise. Now I need to test it with some light modifiers on it and it front of some people.
In the end the total project costs are around €100, so that’s 1/4th of a relative cheap one in the stores. Of course I cannot choose the color temperature or control the intensity, but who cares 🙂
